For over 10 years we have been specialising in the production of ethyl alcohol and derivate products. Three generations’ worth of experience is seamlessly joined with modern management and expertise of our highly qualified staff. Although at first we specialised in the production of spirit, the company’s contemporary scope of business is so much broader - we have been investing in the technologies of tomorrow, all related to biogas, biomethane and renewable sources of energy. We believe in innovative solutions in production technology and improving the Sustainable Energy Centre, our bespoke approach to the idea of circular economy. Since our roots are in the Wielkopolska region, we understand the power of local agriculture and value long-term business and commercial relations. Still, we have not forgotten our origins - we are still growing spirit beverages branded as Wielkopolska Manufaktura Wódek - the Wielkopolska Vodka Manufacturing Plant.

Our company started as alcohol producer and we have been growing this field since day one. The alcohol is mainly made from cereals, most notably corn, sourced from local farms. Our products have excellent organoleptic, physical and chemical properties - each day, our in-house lab performs around 100 chromatography analyses and other tests of the alcohol’s properties, giving us constant supervision over the quality of our products.

The plant uses two distilling lines, whose total capacity is 6500 dm3/h. The alcohol is purified with a multi-column rectifying system, rated at 1500 dm3 / h. Bioethanol is produced on a separate line, capable of making 1500 dm3/h.

ORGANIC ALCOHOL

We hold a certificate issued by TUV Rheinland confirming our participation in the organic farming system. 

We work with sustainable farms which only produce their crops using natural, eco-friendly methods. 

Ecologically produced grain arrives in our plant, where it is stored in specially designated silos. 

The production of alcohol from ecologically produced grain never takes place simultaneously with conventional production and is preceded with a thorough installation washing process.

Our organic ethanol is made from wheat and rye.

REN GRADE ALCOHOL

Ethanol purified in a dual column system, with reduced content of impurities (even below 200 g / hl), no pyridine and kosher compliant. May be used in food industry, eg in vinegar production plants. Once denatured, it can be used in winter season as a base for the production of windshield washer fluid - the mild odor of REN grade alcohol has no impact on the product's scent.

Raw ethanol, made with utmost care from corn, wheat, potatoes, rye, triticale or a combination of cereals as requested by a customer. Colorless and transparent, with a fragrance typical of the raw material. Each batch is carefully tested by gas chromatography, before shipping to the buyer (most often manufacturers of alcoholic beverages).

The rectified pharmaceutical alcohol made by Ima Polska SA satisfies the European Pharmacopoeia 10.0 quality standard for medicinal products. Our alcohol is used by Polish and foreign companies making pharmaceutical, cosmetic and disinfecting products.

Following European Chemicals Agency's decision no. ACC-D-1464468-41-00 / F, Ima Polska SA has been entered into the list of suppliers of active substances, pursuant to Art. 95 of the Regulation (EU) No. 528/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 May 2012 concerning the making available on the market and use of biocidal products.
